Host Home services in Iowa is a community-based living option. A contractor with CLS provides supports to a person who comes to live in their home, and the residence effectively becomes the person’s home.
Interested in becoming a Host Home?
Anyone can apply to become a Host Home subcontractor with CSN. Our aim is to create the best match possible between the subcontractor and the person desiring supports. We do this by recruiting people who may make a good match, or by using our open application process and then involving the person supported in the selection process. Our aim is to identify a good match from the start, so that a Host Home relationship starts off with the greatest chance of success and longevity.
We ensure that the Host Home provider meets all regulatory requirements, and offer training on how to provide quality services and supports. And we offer the same to the Host Home's identified relief subcontractors, when applicable.
